Golf in Marbella and Surrounding Areas
Nueva Andalucia Area
Las Brisas - This is the one of the oldest and most respected courses in the area and designed by the famous Robert Trent Jones in the 1960's. This course includes numerous water hazards, there are ten artificial lakes fed by two streams.
La Dama de Noche - Designed to be played at night as well as during the day, this course is open around the clock. Even though its only nine holes, its a Par 36.
Aloha - One of the best known courses on the Costa del Sol. It is noted for its tricky greens, reservations are essential.
Marbella Area
Rio Real - Over fifty years and was named after the river that runs through parts of the course. Very scenic course but quite flat.
Marbella Golf Country Club - Designed in the late 1980's by Robert Trent Jones, well established 18 hole championship course is 6000 meters long with a par of 72. Surrounded by lush green hills and olive trees, Marbella Golf is unique.
Santa Clara - a technically challenging but straightforward course with large open greens.
Elviria & Calahonda
Greenlife Golf - 9 holes, set in the beautiful Elviria hills and boasts beautifully maintained fairways lined with olive & cork trees.
Santa Maria - offers challenging golf in unparalleled surroundings with views of the Mediterranean. 18 holes.
Cabopino - is situated on the border between Marbella & Mijas Costa, opposite the charming little port of Cabopino. Spectacular views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding pine forest.
La Siesta - visitors are always welcome at this private 9 hole club in Calahonda.
Mijas Costa
La Cala - the only resort on the Costa del Sol with three 18 hole courses plus a six hole par 3. An american course on uneven and mountainous terrain.
El Chaparral - 18 hole course with views of the Mediterrean.
